Ink and colors on paper, lower center inscribed with dating "In the Gui month (8th month) of the wuchen year (1928) of the Republic period" and donors' names. The Buddha Shakyamuni crowned with a mandorla is seated in meditation on a high lotus base, flanked in front by his two disciples Ananda and Kashyapa. In the shape of a hanging scroll as a temple painting. Mounted under glass in a wood frame.
